Full-Service
Fire Protection for Residential and Commercial Properties

Fire System Installers is a licensed residential and commercial fire protection contractor serving Atlanta, GA and the surrounding metro. We handle every phase of fire protection — from initial system design and permit submittal to installation, testing, and 24/7 alarm monitoring — so facility managers, general contractors, and developers have a single accountable partner from project kickoff to final AHJ inspection.

Our services cover fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, backflow prevention, alarm monitoring, and in-house design and permitting for office buildings, warehouses, restaurants, multi-family complexes, daycares, assisted living facilities, and new construction projects of all occupancy types.

Fire Alarm System Installation

A properly designed and installed fire alarm system is the first line of life-safety defense for any residential and commercial building. Fire System Installers designs and installs addressable and conventional fire alarm systems engineered to meet NFPA 72 and local Atlanta/Fulton County code requirements for every commercial occupancy type.

Our fire alarm installation services include:

  • Addressable and conventional panel installation (Notifier, Simplex, Honeywell, Silent Knight)
  • Smoke detectors, heat detectors, and multi-criteria detection devices
  • Manual pull stations, horn/strobe and speaker/strobe notification appliances
  • Duct smoke detectors and elevator recall integration
  • Voice evacuation systems for high-rise and assembly occupancies
  • New construction rough-in through final test and inspection
  • Retrofit and system expansion for existing commercial properties

Every installation is documented, tested to NFPA standards, and submitted to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for approval — giving building owners and GCs a clean certificate of occupancy path.

Sprinkler
System Design, Installation & Testing

A code-compliant fire sprinkler system protects lives, limits property damage, and is required by code in most new commercial and multi-family construction in Georgia. Fire System Installers designs, installs, and tests wet-pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems for every commercial building type.

Sprinkler systems we install:

  • Wet-pipe systems — standard commercial offices, retail, and multi-family
  • Dry-pipe systems — unheated warehouses and parking structures
  • Pre-action systems — data centers and sensitive equipment rooms
  • Deluge systems — high-hazard industrial and chemical storage areas
  • Residential NFPA 13D/13R systems — multi-family and assisted living

Our in-house engineering team produces hydraulic calculations and CAD sprinkler layout drawings stamped by a licensed fire protection engineer when required, then coordinates permit submittal directly with Atlanta Fire Rescue or the applicable AHJ. Post-installation, we perform hydrostatic and flow testing to NFPA 25 standards.

Backflow
Prevention System Installation & Testing

Any commercial building that connects a fire suppression system to the domestic water supply in Atlanta is required by the Georgia EPD and local water utility to install a certified backflow prevention assembly. This device protects the public water supply from potential contamination caused by pressure fluctuations in fire suppression lines.

Fire System Installers handles the full scope of backflow compliance:

  • Supply and installation of reduced-pressure zone (RPZ) and double-check valve assemblies (DCVA) approved for fire line service
  • Coordination with Atlanta water utilities for connection approval
  • Initial commissioning and differential pressure testing
  • Annual backflow preventer testing and certified test report filing
  • Repair and replacement of failed backflow devices

Failure to install or annually test a backflow preventer can result in water service shutoff and occupancy violations. Our certified testers carry the required ASSE/ABPA credentials and file test reports directly with the local water authority on your behalf.

24/7
UL-Listed Alarm Monitoring

Alarm monitoring transforms your fire alarm system from a local notification device into a verified rapid-response safety network. Fire System Installers partners with a UL-listed central monitoring station to provide around-the-clock signal reception and emergency dispatch notification for commercial properties throughout the Atlanta metro.

Alarm monitoring services include:

  • 24/7/365 UL-listed central station monitoring
  • Immediate notification to Atlanta Fire Rescue and emergency contacts on alarm
  • Supervisory and trouble signal monitoring for sprinkler and suppression systems
  • Monthly and annual reporting for insurance and compliance documentation
  • Remote signal transmission via cellular, IP, or dual-path communicators
  • New system activation and existing system monitoring takeovers

Maintaining active monitoring is required by most commercial property insurance carriers and local fire codes. We handle account setup, panel programming, and central station enrollment — so monitoring is active from day one.

In-House
Fire Protection Design & Permit Services

Most fire protection contractors subcontract engineering and permit drawings — creating delays, miscommunication, and cost overruns on commercial construction projects. Fire System Installers brings design and permit services in-house, giving general contractors and developers a direct path from project plans to AHJ-approved permit drawings without a third-party bottleneck.

Our design and permit services cover:

  • Fire alarm system drawings and device schedules per NFPA 72
  • Sprinkler system hydraulic calculations and layout drawings per NFPA 13/13R/13D
  • Backflow preventer submittal packages for utility approval
  • Permit application preparation and submittal to Atlanta Fire Rescue and local AHJs
  • Plan revision management through review cycles until permit issuance
  • As-built drawing production after final inspection

Whether you're breaking ground on a new office building, converting a warehouse, or completing a multi-family residential development, our team coordinates directly with the Authority Having Jurisdiction to keep your fire protection permit on the critical path — not behind it.
